I've been able to eat at The Chubby Chickpea a few times and have generally enjoyed the experience. The picture on the left is the beef and lamb shawarma. Liked it a lot, you really get a LOT of food in their combinations. There are fries under there, pita, hummus and Israeli salad. And by Israeli salad, that means it is chopped up, that's the real deal. I've had the falafel, which was ok, maybe a little dry to me. Last time I went, they did not have the first 2 things I wanted to order from the large menu they offer. Service is friendly and fast. The Chubby Chickpea is a welcome addition to the food truck scene. Update- The chicken shawarma wrap is a meal unto itself! I had mine with hummus, tahini, onion, and tomatoes. Just great flavors wrapped up in a huge wrap. |
