The Chicken & Rice Guys

Chicken and rice carts are a Big Deal in New York, but they haven't taken off here. If lunch today from The Chicken & Rice Guys is a hint of what we've been missing, there is more to come. I ordered the combo platter, comes with chicken (Halal), rice (go figure), lamb sausage, pita and lettuce. There are 2 sauces, both fabulous, are both ends of the taste scale. The hot sauce is a good hot - it has a great kick, but doesn't kill you with it. Need to cool off, there is the yogurt dressing. I had both of them all over everything.... hmmm let's see how this is with heat, ok, now back to yogurt. Service was friendly & very fast. Add to all that, this ridiculous amount of good food was all of $6. This was their first day at Hemenway & Forsyth by Northeastern (Thursdays). They also have a frequent customer card, get 5 stamps and you get a free snack size. Also note- cash only.
