The Dining Car sort of flies under the radar, but consistently puts out really good food. At the Greenway Mobile Food Truck Fest, their shortcake came in 2nd as best dish. I've had their crispy cauliflower with curry aioli, which is crazy good. Nice light batter, so good in the aioli. Here you see the kielbasa, onion & pepper sammie, with olive oil and garlic. The menu says it has potatoes, I can't say I was getting any potato in there. This is a trumped up, improved version of something you would get outside of Fenway - meaty, fatty, messy and delicious. To be fair, their menu hits a lot of different flavor profiles, check it out. Update- While you can, big thumbs up on their flatbread pizza. Topped with kale, summer squash, garlic, mozzarella and goat cheese, this pie was delicious, healthy and more than enough to fill you at lunch. For a devoted carnivore like me, that's high praise! |
