Go Fish

As evidence that I'm not always happy with what I get from a truck, let me talk about today's lunch from Go Fish. I had ordered the fish and chips once before and thought it was overcooked. Well anything can happen once, so I finally tried again. You can see from the picture that I still think they need more of a lighter touch on the deep frying. Better than last time, the fish was still pretty moist and tasty inside, but not the golden brown one expects to see. I'd be happy with another small piece of fish, versus too many frozen fries. I also ordered a special of Everything Chicken Soup. It did have everything, except the temperature hot soup should be. Lukewarm at best. Good flavor, but needed a shot in microwave. And no, it didn't cool from traveling, I'm only about 300 feet from there to my building. Let me also say, I've had some really good things from there - crab stuffed sole, crab salad sammie, but like many places- there are some things that are better than others. (3/15/12)
